Grossglockner by the Normal Route 3798m
ROUTE DESCRIPTION
The majority of ascents of Grossglockner follow the Normal Route from Kals in East Tyrol. The mountain guide meets his guests between 12.30 and 2.30 pm in the car park near the Lucknerhaus alpine inn (1918 m) (equipment check). They then follow the marked hiking trail through the Koednitz Valley past the Luckner Hut (2241 m) and then continue to the Stuedl Hut (2802 m) - approx. 2.5 hours. The guests and mountain guide can stay overnight at the Stuedl Hut (2802 m) or at the Adlersruhe (3454 m).
The following morning, at sunrise, we make an early start for the summitafter breakfast.
From the Stuedl Hut (2802 m) it is still 2.5 hours to the Adlersruhe. Once roped up, we continue towards the Glocknerleitl, a steep ice slope which we will negotiate zig-zag fashion using crampons. We then switch to rocky terrain and first cross over the Kleinglockner (3771 m) - climbing grade I-II (easy). After a short descent into the renowned Glocknerscharte wind gap, we begin the opposing climb to the summit (1.5 hrs).

We descend by the same route via the Erzherzog Johann Hut (Adlersruhe) to our starting point at the Stuedl Hut (3.5 hrs).
REQUIREMENTS
Good preparation, fitness for 400 metres of elevation gain per hour,
sure-footedness, a head for heights and some climbing experience.
Children must be over 14 years of age.

Grossglockner Stuedl Ridge 3798m
The most popular and loveliest ridge climb on the highest mountain in Austria.
ROUTE DESCRIPTION
The route begins at the Stuedl Hut (2802 m). This can be reached without difficulty from the Lucknerhaus inn (1981 m) in 2-3 hours. You will meet with your mountain guide in the evening between 7 and 8 pm. There will then be a tour meeting including equipment check.
Early the next morningyou will head via the Teischnitzkees (glacier) to the bottom of the ridge (1.5 hrs). With grade three and four climbing sections, the Stuedl Ridge is a genuine alpine challenge. Climbing sections and walking terrain alternate in the compact rocky landscape. The upper part of the ridge, where the climbing difficulty increases, offers spectacular views into the distance and down the mountain.
Afterreaching the summitwe descend by the Normal Route via the Adlersruhe to the Stuedl Hut.

Grossvenediger 3666m
A mountain tour to the tallest summit in the state of Salzburg, the Grossvenediger (3666 m) via the north ascent. We cross the glacier in a safe team with experienced mountain guides. We follow the historic route of the first men to climb the mountain and start in Neukirchen. The 1.5-day tour with a night in the Kuersinger Hut is technically easy but challenging in terms of fitness. Participants: up to 8 people
STARTING POINT
Meeting place: Car park in Neukirchen at 3 pm (equipment check), then we take the Venediger taxi to the valley station of the goods cable lift. From there, we ascend to the Kuersinger Hut with the mountain guide; in the evening there will be a tour meeting.
ROUTE DESCRIPTION
After breakfast there is a short, easy climb to the roping up area. From there we continue roped up over the glacier towards the Venediger gap. In the summit region a narrow firn ridge forms the crux to the summit of the Grossvenediger (walking time from the Kuersinger Hut to the Grossvenediger approx. 3.5 - 4 hrs).
The descent is via the same route, back to the Kuersinger Hut, onwards to the goods cable lift and then a taxi ride to the car park.
